The minutes of the March 4th meeting were presented. They were amended to say that Danielle Myers has not agreed to be a member. She is interested, but is still thinking about it. Minutes were accepted as amended.

Wendy gave the treasurer’s report. We have a balance of $10,716.14. She paid the donation to Benton Community Foundation, and government forms have been filed. She asked if we need to have a second signature on checks. It was decided that we did not. The report was accepted.

Publicity on the grant availability was discussed. Information has been posted on line and has been in the Times. The Calapooia Food Alliance has submitted an application.

Don reported that the has talked with a representative of the Parent Teacher Club at Central Linn. They have not been able to spend their 2020 grant money of $500 and will probably be returning it. The representative needs to discuss it with their Board. They will probably submit a new request this year.

Doing video interviews as a May event was discussed. Lance thought it might be a challenge to do them under COVID restrictions. This idea was put on hold for now.

The possibility of a fall event was discussed. Lance the possibility of the railroad swap meet, but this is still up in the air. Kathy mentioned the possibility of a music event. Lance also mentioned possibly doing a silent auction. These will be discussed in the future.

Kathy mentioned that Benton Community Foundation is having a virtual event for their contributors and members. She was invited, but is not able to take part. If anyone else is interested, they should contact BCF.

Kathy will talk to Lori Garcy about resuming our training sessions.

Next meeting will be May 5th at 3 p.m.

Meeting adjourned at 3:35.

Respectfully submitted,
Chenoweth Robertson, secretary
