Also present was Mary Canaday. Don was only present for part of the meeting.
Kathy called the meeting to order at 3:10.
The minutes of the November meeting were approved as presented.
Wendy gave the Treasurer’s report. We have $13,650 in the bank. The report was accepted as presented.
The 2022 budget was discussed. It will be the same as it was in 2021. The 2022 budget was passed, and Wendy will have an actual budget at the next meeting.
The calendar for 2022 was discussed. Kathy did not include the Gala in May. Grant information will be put in the newspaper. In addition we will get information to Linda McCormick, Jenna Stutzman, the Chamber, and to the city newsletters. Linda McCormick can post information on her various Facebook pages, as can Jenna Stutzman. The calendar was adopted.
Chenoweth will contact Vance regarding website corrections that need to be made. Kathy is currently listed as Vice President.
Mary is interested and willing to be a board member. She said she could work on Facebook and has done fundraising in the past. The board felt she would be a good fit, and it was decided to add Mary as a new member.
We will review the grant process in February. Plans for the coming year were discussed. The possibility of doing a dinner as a fundraiser was mentioned.
