The meeting was called to order by Kathy at 3:00 p.m.
The minutes of the May meeting were approved as presented.
Wendy gave the treasurer’s report. We have a balance of $7,755. She said that Georgia Pacific had asked her for an invoice, which has been sent. They will donate $500. We decided to wait one or two months to decide how much to send to the Benton Community Foundation.
Chenweth reported that we have received one final report for the 2021 grants. She will contact the remaining grantees regarding sending their reports in.
Wendy said that Vance would like to talk with her regarding Donor box.
Chenoweth reported that she had sent Lance the information on the grants awarded this year so he can put information in the Times. Mary has put it on Facebook. Don would like to see a story on the grants and the projects.
Mary said she would try to link Facebook with the website.
Don said that he is making a point to contact at least one person/month regarding donating to the Foundation.
Community activity participation was discussed. We will not be participating in any events at this point.
The board handbook was discussed. There were no changes made.
We will not be meeting in July. Our next meeting will be August 4th. Meeting adjourned at 3:30.
