Wendy will send a thank you to Georgia Pacific for their donation.
Kathy reported that we had received a letter from the Brownsville Disaster Preparedness Committee. They will be having an event on October 21st at the American Legion starting at 6:30. Space will be available for organizations to present information. We will participate in this event. Kathy will do a poster for National Estate Planning Month to have at the event.
Wendy reported that Donorbox is working. Vance and she got it set up and running. It is linked to our website. Vance discussed Stripe, which processes Donorbox. We have asked for a non-profit rate from them.
Vance would like to do articles in the newspaper and on the website regarding grantees. Lance is still working on this.

Vance will go to work on videos for You Tube.
Don reported that he is still working on the history of the organization, and he will have it done by our next meeting.
The donor list was discussed. Wendy will combine all of the lists that we have and come up with one complete list for the next meeting.
The donor letter was discussed. Chenoweth will merge the two sample letters.
Kathy brought up a suggestion of possibly having a calendar for a fundraiser. We could possibly sell dates on the calendar. We could also have a contest for people to submit pictures. It is something to think about for the future.
Our next meeting will be October 6th.
